Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 12/16/25

Nicola's: We had a baker's dozen of teams for this week's game. Landing Crew and Please Clap got things kicked off, both winning OTB extra points for their responses. Midway through the half, Dr. Zoom built up steam to overtake the leaders and started pulling away from the field. *draw a picture of Santa Claus on the (12/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, Dr. Zoom held a substantial lead over Landing Crew, Off Center, Steven Hawking's Football Boots, then a tie between Please Clap and The Ladies. Blame It On The Alcohol put in the strongest performance over the second half to climb the roster. Going into the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom still held a huge lead over Off Center, Landing Crew, then a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and Please Clap.

A couple teams correctly answered the Final Bonus.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
