Nicola’s: We had a few newcomers join our game to make for a fantastic crowd. Happy Locals snagged the OTB extra point to get things rolling, but it was Off Center and Nicoboli For George who were the early contenders. *draw a picture of an angry wasp on the Round 2/Question 1 response (4/28/26) to score bonus points* Off Center dominated the Halftime Bonus to hold a comfortable lead over Nicoboli For George, Midnight Meat Train, then a 3-way tie between Happy Locals, Boli Express and 10-6 Bees as we moved into the second half. Off Center broke their stride early after halftime, allowing Nicoboli For George to catch and ultimately pass them for the lead. Going into the Final Bonus, Nicoboli For George held the advantage over Off Center, Happy Locals, Blame It On The Alcohol and Midnight Meat Train. Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus. Nicola’s: A lucky group of seven teams joined this week’s game. Bad Monkeys were first on the board, taking the OTB extra point, but struggled to get up to speed as the field swiftly moved past. It was a competitive match, with the lead changing hands every round. *draw a picture of a large shade tree on the Round 2/Question 1 response (4/21/26) to score bonus points* At Halftime, Off Center sat atop the roster followed by a tie between Happy Locals and Dr. Zoom, then Boli Express and Monrow Doctrine. Dr. Zoom put in a flawless second half to move into the lead midway through the second half while the rest of the teams jockeyed for position. Going into the Final Bonus, Dr. Zoom was trailed by Off Center, Monrow Doctrine, Boli Express and Happy Locals. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus. Nicola’s: We had a super friendly crowd and a fun bunch of teams for our game this week. Happy Locals nabbed the OTB extra point to get the ball rolling. It was a close and somewhat low-scoring match, with no clear favorite appearing in the early rounds. *draw a picture of a broken piggy bank on the Round 2/Question 1 response (4/14/26) to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Comets were leading over Landing Crew, Happy Locals, Blame It On Alcohol and Dr. Zoom. Several teams put in strong performances during the second half, with Boli Express being the standout with a maximum point perfect second half. Going into the Final Bonus, Comets still held a slim lead over a tie between Blame It On Alcohol and Landing Crew, followed by another tie between Boli Express and Dr. Zoom. Nicola’s: Landing Crew were first on the board and off to an early lead after scoring the OTB extra point. However, Handful Of Johnsons built up a head of steam to take over at the front midway through the half. *draw a picture of the Easter Bunny on the (4/7/26) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Handful Of Johnsons sat on the top of the roster, followed by a tie between Blame It On Alcohol and Happy Locals, then Landing Crew and Boli Express. The second half did little to change the running order, although Off Center was able to climb their way up into a tie with Boli Express as we entered the Final Bonus. Nicola's: Spring has sprung, which brought out a great group of teams for our game this week. Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump on the field. However, they would be put under pressure by Landing Crew throughout the half. *draw a picture of a court jester on the (3/31/26) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, Landing Crew held a slim lead over Boli Express, followed by Damn Yankees, then a tie between Off Center and Branch Floridians. Landing Crew was able to fend off the quickly advancing Dr. Zoom, who put in a flawless maximum point second half, to retain the top spot over Dr. Zoom, Off Center, then a tie between Boli Express and Branch Floridians as we entered the Final Bonus. Nicola's: Another dozen teams made their way out to this week's game. Off Center nabbed the OTB extra point, but struggled to get up to speed. Meanwhile, Damn Yankees made a breakaway to set the early pace. *draw a picture of a Texas Ranger on the (3/24/26) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Damn Yankees held a strong lead over Purple People Eaters, followed by a tie between Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol, then Landing Crew. Damn Yankees continued their romp at the front of the pack with a flawless second half as Blame It On The Alcohol piled on the pressure, also putting in a flawless half + the musical bonus. Going into the Final Bonus, Damn Yankees still held a comfy lead over Blame It On The Alcohol, Purple People Eaters, then a tie between Off Center and Landing Crew.
