Nicola Pizza! - Let's Do Trivia! - 5/13/25

It was another thrilling Tuesday night at Nicola Pizza with Let's Do Trivia, where eight teams battled it out for glory, bragging rights, and cold hard cash. The energy was high from the very start, with Off Center and About Faces tying for first in the opening round, each racking up 36 points. Landing Crew and Dr. Zoom followed closely behind with 35 each, while Blame It On The Alcohol rounded out the top five with 32.

At halftime, the scoreboard was tight, with Off Center and About Faces still tied at the top with 44 points. Landing Crew and Dr. Zoom kept the pressure on at 43 apiece, and Blame It On The Alcohol wasn't far behind with 40.

But it was the second half that really shook things up. Landing Crew surged ahead to take the lead with 73 points, only to be overtaken in the final moments by the house team, Boli Express, who clinched the win with 78 points! Since the house team can't claim the cash, the $50 top prize rolls over, making next week's first place worth a whopping $100!!!!! Landing Crew still took home $20 for second. Get ready for another wild night next week at Let's Do Trivia!

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
