Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 4/8/25

Nicola's: We had a packed house filled with several of our regular players along with a handful of newbies. About Faces, Vols and Half Wits all scored OTB extra points for their responses. About Faces put on a flawless exhibition throughout the first half, with only Half Wits able to stay close. *draw a picture of a broken piggy bank on the (4/15/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, About Faces was on top of the roster with a perfect maximum possible halftime score! Half Wits were nipping at their heels, followed by Chris & The Jugheads, Birds of Play/Go Birds and Happy Locals. Unfortunately, About Faces fell victim to the dreaded perfect halftime score curse, allowing Half Wits to take over at the front for much of the second half. Going into the Final Bonus, About Faces and Half Wits shared the lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Off Center and Birds of Play/Go Birds.

Only one correctly answered the Final Bonus, and we needed a tie-breaker to determine our top prize winner.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
