Nicola Pizza!-Let's Do Trivia!-4/1/25

Tuesday night at Nicola Pizza was the place to be for Let's Do Trivia, and the competition was fierce! Teams started strong in the first half, with Handful of Johnsons and Blame It On The Alcohol tied at 34 points, closely followed by Off Center with 33. At halftime, the top two teams held their lead at 38 points, while Just For Fun and Off Center kept the pressure on.

As the second half heated up, Blame It On The Alcohol surged ahead with 69 points, but Handful of Johnsons, Fantastic Fourplay, and The Boli Express (House Team) weren't far behind, all tied at 65. With final scores rolling in, it was anyone's game!

In a dramatic finish, Landing Crew pulled off the win with 82 points, taking home the $50 prize! Katzen Bloom followed closely with 80 points for second place and $20. Blame It On The Alcohol rounded out the top three with 59 points. Just For Fun and The Boli Express battled hard, finishing fourth and fifth, while the rest of the teams gave it their all.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
