Nicola Pizza!-Let's Do Trivia!-1/7/25

On Tuesday night, New Year's Eve, Nicola Pizza hosted an unforgettable round of Let's Do Trivia! Thirteen teams gathered to compete in a night full of fun, knowledge, and friendly rivalry.

The first half saw Off Center take the lead with 34 points, closely followed by Landing Crew (32) and Boli Express (30). Grussell Sprouts, K n K, and Torbert Fam tied for fourth with 29 points each.

At halftime, Landing Crew surged ahead with an impressive 40 points, while Torbert Fam (35) and a tie between Off Center and Boli Express (34 each) kept the competition tight.

In the second half, Landing Crew maintained their dominance, ending with 74 points, but Torbert Fam gained momentum, finishing strong with 61 points, while Off Center held steady with 58.

In the final standings, Torbert Fam clinched the top spot with 81 points, taking home the $50 prize. Off Center followed with 78 points, earning $20, and Landing Crew rounded out the podium with 66 points. Winning by Default and K n K completed the top five, with 54 and 33 points, respectively.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. The second half spread out the field just a bit. Going into the Final Bonus, If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked still held the top spot followed by a tie between Off Center and Happy Locals, then Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
