Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 12/17/24

*Have a Merry Christmas! We'll be back on New Year's Eve*
Nicola's: We had a baker's dozen of teams join our game this week. Landing Crew snagged the OTB extra point and were off like a rocket right from the start. They ran at the front of the pack over the early rounds, however being challenged by several over teams. *draw a picture of Santa's sleigh on the (12/31/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Team Reed held the advantage over Ladybugs, then a 5-way tie (!) between Off Center, Boli Express, About Faces, Landing Crew and Danny DeVito Fan Club. This was a super-close match! The standings stayed too close to call over the second half, however Blame It On The Alcohol kicked in the afterburners to vault into the lead as we headed into the Final Bonus. They were closely followed by a tie between Off Center and Landing Crew, then a 3-way tie between Boli Express, About Faces and Underage Thinkers.

Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, and we needed a tie-breaker to determine our 2nd place prize winner.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
