Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 11/19/24

Nicola's: We had a dozen teams make their way out to play this week's game. About Faces nabbed the OTB extra point (déjà vu?) to kick things off, but it was Off Center who quickly moved to the front, holding the position throughout the early rounds. *draw a picture of a pilgrim on the (11/26/24) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, We had a 3-way tie for the lead between Off Center, Boli Express and Bullard Balls, closely followed by yet another 3-way tie between Quiz Kids, Landing Crew and Tramps Like Us. Half the field covered by a single point! Round 4 completely broke up all the tied scores and shuffled the running order. Off Center held sole possession of the lead for nearly all of the second half until we approached the Final Bonus. Again, three teams shared the top spot: Off Center, Boli Express and About Faces, followed by Landing Crew, then Bullard Balls as we entered the Final Bonus.

A couple teams correctly answered the Final Bonus, and we had a 3-way tie for the 2nd place prize which was awarded to the team by virtue of their correct response.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. The second half spread out the field just a bit. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
