Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 4/9/24

Nicola's: It was a wonderful evening, and another outstanding crowd showed up for this week's game. About Faces snagged the OTB extra point to get the ball rolling, but it would be Boli Express and Off Center sparing for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of two pennies on the Round 2/Question 1 response to score bonus points* At the halfway mark, Off Center held a slim advantage over a 3-way tie between Happy Locals, Boli Express and About Faces, then Bday Party. In the second half, Off Center had a flawless run to dominate the rest of the field and extend their lead. Going into the Final Bonus, they were well ahead of Bday Party, About Faces, Boli Express and Landing Crew.

Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
