Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 4/16/24

Nicola's: This week's game was jam packed, nearly standing room only kinda night. Yellow Bucket nabbed the OTB extra point to get things kicked off. It was a close match with several teams vying for the lead, but Grouper Fingers was able to move out front by a whisker midway through the half. *draw a picture of a honeybee on the Round 2/Question 1 response to score bonus points* At Halftime, The Lightning Rods and Grouper Fingers shared the top spot over Yellow Bucket, Boli Express, then a 3-way tie between Newbie Tuesday, The Hippy Shakes and Senior Moments. The second half was a bit more difficult for some, and an advantage for others. Going into the Final Bonus, Grouper Fingers held a slight lead over Boli Express, Senior Moments, Dr. Zoom and The Lightning Rods.

Two teams correctly answered the Final Bonus.

Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. The second half spread out the field just a bit. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
