Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 2/27/24

Nicola's: We had an absolutely incredible crowd make their way out for this week's game. Happy Locals captured the OTB for their riotous response, putting everyone in a great mood. It was a close match with such a packed house, however there were a couple teams who would be battling for the lead midway through the half: Menace To Sobriety and Boli Express. *draw a picture of a dandelion on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Menace To Sobriety held the top spot just ahead of a tie between Off Center and Flying Longhorns, then About Faces, The Bang Bros, then a 4-way tie between Boli Express, Lewes Litt, Dr. Zoom and Froggy's Revenge. About Faces came on strong in the second half, closing the gap to the front, while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. Going into the Final Bonus, About Faces and Boli Express shared the lead over Menace To Sobriety, Grouper Fingers, Flying Longhorns, then a tie between Aquadummies and The Bang Bros.

Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Handful of Johnsons snagged the OTB extra point and got off to an excellent start, running at the front of the pack over the early rounds. *draw a picture of a glowing cowboy on the (9/23/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, we had a tie for the lead between If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked and Big Dave, closely followed by Blame It On The Alcohol, Happy Locals and Off Center. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
