Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 12/26/23 *Inflated Prize Alert*

GREAT NEWS!
We are moving the game INDOORS this week and possibly for the remainder of the chilly weather season! So, you may not need those flannel undies and wool socks this week.

Nicola's: Nicola's: We had a packed house with standing room only for this week's game. Lots of our regulars along with plenty of newbies joining in on the fun. Boli Express nabbed the OTB extra point and battled neck-n-neck with Off Center for the top spot throughout the early rounds. *draw a picture of a Father Time on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, Boli Express and Stephen Hawking's School Of Dance shared the lead just ahead of a tie between Off Center and Benny And The Jets, then Dr. Zoom ahead of a couple more tied scores. Several teams came out of the halftime bonus super strong, but the last round really broke up all the tied scores and shook up the running order. Going into the Final Bonus, Stephen Hawking's School Of Dance held sole possession of the lead over Boli Express, Dr. Zoom, Off Center and Flying Longhorns.

*Inflated Prize Alert*
Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering. And the house team scored the 2nd place prize, so next week's top prize will be inflated.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
