Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 12/12/23

Nicola's: Another excellent crowd with a handful of newcomers along with some familiar faces from different places on hand for this week's game. We're Not Late This Time scored the OTB extra point, fittingly. Brute Squad came out swinging, taking the early lead, and never letting up throughout the first half. *draw a picture of an elf on the shelf on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points*. At Halftime, Brute Squad had a near perfect score ahead of a tie between Flying Squirrels and We're Not Late This Time, the Blue Herons and Off Center. Brute Squad continued to dominate the second half while the rest of the field jockeyed for position. Going into the Final Bonus, Brute Squad held the advantage over a tie between Off Center and We're Not Late This Time, then The Merriments and Blue Herons.

Only one team correctly answered our Final Bonus.

Nicola's: Our summer hiatus has ended and we had a dozen teams filled with plenty of familiar faces join our game. Nicola's: It was a packed house for this week's game. Harvo, Speed Bumps and Dr. Zoom all won OTB extra points for their responses to get the ball rolling. It was a close, competitive match, with several teams vying for the top spot throughout the first half. *draw a picture of a jack o'lantern on the (11/4/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, Midnight Meat Train and Speed Bumps shared the top spot over If This Was Strip Poker We'd Be Naked, P&J, then a tie between Landing Crew and Blame It On The Alcohol. The second half really shook up the running order, while Graying Personalities put in the strongest performance. Going into the Final Bonus, P&J held the lead aheqad of Speed Bumps, Blame It On The Alcohol, then a tie between Midnight Meat Train and Graying Personalities. Nicola’s - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/7/25 *Inflated Prize Alert*

Nicola's: Another fun group of teams joined our game this week. The Boli Express snagged the OTB extra point to get the early jump out of the gates. It was a challenging game, with The Boli Express and Blame It On The Alcohol running neck-n-neck at the front throughout the first half. *draw a picture of Betelgeuse on the (10/14/25) Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At the halfway mark, The Boli Express held a slim lead over Landing Crew, Blame It On The Alcohol, Kickin' Assets and Off Center. The Boli Express slipped just a bit midway through the second half, allowing Landing Crew to move into the top spot. Going into the Final Bonus, Landing Crew were just ahead of a tie between Blame It On The Alcohol and The Boli Express, then Kickin' Assets and Off Center.
